With appropriate treatment, people with mental illness can get better and contribute to society. Children can overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, people with developmental disabilities can lead exceptional lives and addictions can be prevented and treated. But not everyone can get treatment.

The Chrysalis Foundation for Mental Health believes every person should have the opportunity to escape from the debilitating effects of mental illnesses and disabilities and the accompanying stigma, and have a chance to lead a happy, rewarding and meaningful life.
